How long have you been in business?
The Early Learning Institute (teli) has been in business since 1958. From inception as St. Peter's Child Development Centers to the present, teli has provided high quality services to children with developmental delays and their families.
What is your primary product or service?
teli provides Early Intervention services to children birth to three in their home or other convenient community locations. Our therapists are highly skilled in physical, speech and occupational therapies, developmental instruction, and hearing, vision, and nutrition services. The same skilled therapists provide outpatient rehabilitative services in occupational and speech therapy to children aged two to eighteen at our three Allegheny County locations.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
teli is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization; serving children and families for over 50 years with a dedicated staff who have an average length of service of 15 years with the organization.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
The teli Early Intervention program is a community based program, housed in the administrative offices at the Greentree/Crafton area of PIttsburgh. Our outpatient programs are located in Bethel Park, and Greentree/Crafton locations.

Early Intervention is free of charge. The Outpatient Rehabilitation program accepts most commercial insurance and Medicaid.

Normal business operations are 8-4 for the business office and by appointment for Early Intervention and Outpatient Rehabilitation.
