How long have you been in business?
ESSpa Kozmetika Organic Spa & Skincare originally opened on February 2nd, 2002 (02/02/02). Because of the loyalty of our guests and their referrals - we outgrew our original location at The Fox Chapel Yacht Club and even outgrew our second location at The Cross Keys Inn. You will find the traditional, homegrown and effective Hungarian treatments that we introduced at our original location at our current establishment in the picture-postcard borough of Aspinwall - which is just 8 miles north of downtown Pittsburgh.
What is your primary product or service?
We are known for our Organic Hungarian Facials because they are simply more intricate, more involved and deliver better results than you can find anywhere else at any price. ESSpa Kozmetika and our owner Eva Kerschbaumer is also nationally recognized as the leading provider of organic spa treatments for children and young adults.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our Hungarian owner and former model, Eva Kerschbaumer, came to the USA in 1996 to manage another spa. She met serial entrepreneur, Scott Kerschbaumer, shortly after she arrived and they married in 1999 and opened ESSpa Kozmetika in 2002. In her hometown of Budapest, Eva was a nationally recgnized skin care expert who was regularly seen on Hungarian Television and in numerous European Magazines. Her passion is educating people on the importance of proper, healthy skincare.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We invite all of guests (and potential customers) to compare us to anyone or any spa anywhere because there is no comparision. For instance, when you have an hour massage at ESSpa Kozmetika, you will be on the table for a full 60 minutes. When you enjoy an Organic Hungarian Facial, you will be on the table for at least 75 minutes. And we do not "nickle and dime" you to death. Our "standard" prices may be a couple of dollars (literally) more than some other places, but all of their "extras" are included in ESSpa Kozmetika services.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location and we are constantly improving it with yearly transformations, remodeling and additions. Trust us when we say, "you have never seen anything even remotely like ESSpa Kozmetika"

From Downtown Pitsburgh:
Take Route 28 North to Exit 6 (Aspinwall Exit). DO NOT go across the bridge. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp onto Freeport Road. Goto the 3rd traffic light and Turn Left onto Brilliant Avenue. We are located on the 1st floor of the big red-brick building on the left.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Discover), checks and cash. Gift Cards are available for purchase in person or online ANYTIME via our Instant Online Gift Certificate system found at www.esspa.net
Which areas do you service?
We service Southwestern Pennsylvania and it is not uncommon to find guests in our spa from Ohio and West Virgina on a weekly (if not daily) basis.

What are your hours of operation?
We are opened every day.
Monday from 10am to 8pm
Tuesday - Saturday from 9am to 8pm
Sunday from 11am to 5pm
