We have been in business since September 1993
What is your primary product or service?
We offer rock climbing to all abilities from ages 6 and up
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I manage the gym and I'm currently 31. I have been climbing for 20 years now and I stopped by to check out the local gym and was hired shortly afterwards by the owner.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
It's hard. Both gyms are some of the oldest in the country but not close enough to be real competition. We are a very friendly, family oriented gym where staff and customers all get along. We also offer classes.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?

We are located inside of Jewarts Gymnastics. The gym sits between North Park and Route 8.
What type of payments do you accept?
cash, check, all credit cards
Which areas do you service?
mostly areas north of Pittsburgh but people willing to travel a little also make the trip
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Elaine Jewart owns the gym and Justin Mech manages the operations
What are your hours of operation?
Monday-Friday 5:00pm-9:00pm, Saturday 11:00am-5:00pm, Sunday 11:00am-4:00pm
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
For the size of the gym, I think we offer a lot any level of climber can do. We are friendly and always willing to help.
