How long have you been in business?
Andrew has over 20 years of hardwood floor refinishing experience. Haven Hardwoods, Inc. opened their doors in 2008.
What is your primary product or service?
Our bread and butter is sanding and refinishing hardwood.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started learning the trade by working with a craftsman from Finland who was well-versed in the newest floor finish technologies from Europe before I graduated college.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The two main areas that we try to concentrate on are consistent quality on our services and communication in our business-to-client relationships.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently, we have an office and a warehouse. We would like to remain small as to retain our high quality of standards.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, checks and all major credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
All of Beaver County, some of Lawrence County and most of Pittsburgh.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The owner, Andrew Matotek owns the company and operates it on a day-to-day basis. We are truly owner-operated.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That they are so exited that their floors turned out beautiful!
