Unique Aquatic, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Hot Stone massage-other nurturing therapies & Triger Point
We help you to explore and identify your deeper needs in order to design the best relaxation experience for YOU. We go the extra mile to exceed your expectations in a PURE and therapeutic way.
In Aquatic Massage, Nick uses the healing embrace of warm (104 F) water magnified by therapeutic jets, individualized massage techniques, spine softening movements, & stretches. As you are floated and cradled, the therapist uses gravity and your own body weight as resistance for massage work from under you. The therapist, water, and client work together to bring you to your purest balance and peace. The waterscape provides full, three-dimensional heat therapy, and complete access to the full body, removing the effects of gravity to create a nearly weightless sensation. This kind of freedom and theraputic effect is just not possible on dry land. No one can adequately describe how good it feels, but YOU will know when you try it.

5 years
What is your primary product or service?
Massage Therapy
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My relaxation therapy skills grew out of my own need to turn of the chatter and tune into my inner peace and wellness as a young man. At 22 years old, I discovered the benefits of Meditation and diaphragmatic breathing as a very effective tool for me personally. Massage Therapy provided me with additional benefits of wellness from deeper relaxation and connection with a professional therapist. I was so impressed and intrigued by the benefits of massage therapy that I decided to pursue training as a massage therapist at the age of 23. As I grew older, my discs began to deteriorate and compress on nerves in my neck and back. Massage Therapy provided short term and long term relief from this pain. And my interest in massage grew from purely relaxation, to addressing chronic pain. Hydrotherapy in a therapeutic hot tub spa also provided quick and significant relief for the pain in my neck and back. When I heard about the concept of combining massage and hydrotherapy I was immediately interested in learning all about it. I chose Aquatic Massage as the subject of my Senior Project for my certification program at Community College of Allegheny County-Boyce. This is where I learned about, and tried different forms of Aquatic Massage. I also received video training in Watsu, from the Watsu Institute and Harold Dull, founder. I used my research, training and personal experience to come up with my own unique form of Aquatic Massage. Most types of Aquatic Massage that are done in one hour or longer sessions, in water temperatures around 95F. My Aquatic Massage therapy is 15-20 minutes long, and done in water between 103-106F. This high heat environment allows for a very quick and deep relaxation of the soft tissue. During this time I begin with assisted stretching for the clients back, hips and legs. I then float and position the client over pulsating therapeutic jets and use deep tissue manipulations with my hands on the same areas where the jets are focused. After 15-20 minutes of Aquatic Massage, we move to a massage table for the balance of time scheduled. There is a significant difference in the deep tissue relaxation that occurs with 15-20 minutes of Aquatic Massage versus only working on the massage table.
