40 Hour Professional Bartender Training Program Lifetime Placement in 90 cities
About Pittsburgh Bartending School:
Our Pittsburgh Bartending School is dedicated to providing the ultimate educational experience for our students. Our professional instructors have many years of bartending experience and are teaching a modernized curriculum that encompasses the most popular, in-demand mixed drinks that are seen and ordered at high end, upscale establishments all over the Pittsburgh area. We are not just teaching drink recipes, wine and beer, and alcohol awareness to our students; our instruction goes much further by focusing heavily on integrating customer service into every aspect of the training. Our newly renovated classroom facility provides a realistic martini bar/ultra lounge feel that enables us to train our students in a genuine environment comparable to venues where they will find employment after graduation. We have local job placement in Pittsburgh and the western Pennsylvania region and national job placement available in 90 cities around the country.
Supply & Demand: Pittsburgh is a major city, with much more than its fair share of bars, restaurants, clubs, sports bars, saloons, and watering holes. The need for qualified, professionally trained, bartenders has never been greater. New places are opening up all the time and bar managers and owners know where to go to get the newest additions to their bar staff. We pride ourselves on providing bar owners and managers with the finest and most knowledgeable bartenders in the city.
What Makes A Great Bartender: Obviously, bartenders need to be knowledgeable in today’s most popular drinks, but there is a lot more to it than just that. Being completely fluent with the tools of the trade and the standard bar equipment, drink preparation order, multi-tasking, and speed techniques are essential! But let’s not forget the most important thing, the customer. This is the service industry and the customer is what this is all about. Customer service is what will turn that $1 tip into a $3 tip. It is what will keep your customers coming back time and again. We focus heavily on this and it is integrated into every part of our curriculum in order to ensure that along with the drink knowledge and bar fluency, our graduates have all the customer service skills they need to succeed.
Get A Nightlife – Bartend!: Have you ever looked around while out on the town and watched as the bartenders quickly and flawlessly made cocktail after cocktail, while taking care of everyone in the crowded bar, raking in the money, and loving every minute of it and wondered ”how did they learn to do that?” and “Could I learn to do that?“
Bartending in the greater Pittsburgh area can be a very tough world to break into. Neighborhood bars with on the job training are few and far between and the average customer is much more educated and demanding today than ever before. Especially in a major city like Pittsburgh, and this is a drinking town. Pittsburghers love the nightlife from the wall to wall bars and taverns of the Southside to the elegant martini bars and ultra lounges downtown.
Pittsburghers are looking for their bartenders to be a step above the rest; fast, efficient, personable and extremely knowledgeable in making drinks. Pittsburgh is the big time, and if you are not bringing your “A” game to the bar every night, you will not last long in this city.
Elite Bartending School offers a comprehensive bartender training program to meet the need in today’s beverage service industry.
