South Hills Counseling provides individual, couples, marriage and family counseling.
My therapeutic style is supportive, non-judgemental, accepting and interactive. I join with the client and act as a guide to help you explore your strengths, find meaning, purpose and discover the barriers keeping you from a more fulfilling life. I believe reflection and insight alone will not bring about change, but once insight has been gained you can take action to foster change and move towards wellness.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a Certified Co-Ocurring Disorders Professional Counselor with 9 years of experience providing help and assistance to adults, teens, couples and families who are struggling with a wide range of issues. I have experience working with issues that include but are not limited to addiction, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, trauma, family structures and couples counseling.
I am a native of the South Hills of Pittsburgh, I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh and my Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Duquesne University. I have experience working in schools, autism services, mental health services and substance abuse services. In addition to private practice work I am currently working as an addiction specialist counselor at Holy Family's outpatient drug and alcohol program.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional Counselor. I have a Graduate degree from Duquesne University in Counselor Education.My background is in providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families.
