PA Contractor License State-Level Registration Requirements
In the City of Pittsburgh, any general contractor wishing to conduct either new construction or improvement work on either residential or commercial property must be licensed by the city before beginning any work. This includes demolition work.
Applicants for a general contractor?s license in Pittsburgh must be at least 18 years of age.
